ALPI@SICAM 2025
ALPI will be staging its yearly exhibit of new collections at Sicam, an international trade show for manufacturers of components, semifinished products and accessories for the furniture industry. The company will participate in this major event with a booth designed by Piero Lissoni to illustrate the expressive versatility of decorative surfaces made of reconstituted wood.
New veneer proposals by Piero Lissoni, nendo and Estúdio Campana will be exhibited along with a novel reinterpretation of the historical wood collection conceived by Ettore Sottsass. Together they form a variegated range of visions, an in-depth exploration of the material, enhanced by minimal graphic markings, audacious colourways, layered textures, and patterns generated by the reuse of production offcuts.
From this year, the complete ALPIlignum Collection is available with IMO-MED certification, the European Union directive for the safety of maritime products. In addition, the Collection is FSC® 100% certified (license number FSC-C004666), based on direct control over the entire supply chain. Regarding fire safety, the Collection's flame-resistance is classified as BS1d0, meaning the veneers offer an elevated level of protection while responding to the highest requirements of aesthetic discernment.
